***NO PERSONAL INFORMATION***

We do not allow people to provide links to personal websites ~ or names of people posted in photos. This includes links to MySpace and BodySpace pages. Instead, you should ask people to please post more photos of the guy ~ but do not ask where they get the photos from or for a link to their photos on this message board.

The board is too public to post this type of personal information.

***STEROIDS***

Our board is NOT about "training advice", it is not about bodybuilding do's and don'ts. Please do not start discussions about steroids on the TMG board. That is not our focus and it is not something we want discussed here. Many people at this board have no actual knowledge about performance-enhancing drugs. This is not the place to have these discussions, and all posts referring to steroid use will be removed. If people continue to repost messages about steroids, they will be banned.

#1 ~ No Porn, no links to porn and no discussion of porn.

Porn is not a bad thing ~ it is just not compatible with what this board is intended to be about. Links to porn, or posting of photos from porn sites (including photos cropped to appear okay), may be grounds for immediate banning. Photos that have a link on them which leads to a porn site is the same thing as posting the link in your text.

Discussion of porn ~ "This guy is a porn star named ______." just leads to someone posting links and more risqué photos. For that reason we request that you do not knowingly post any photos of porn stars. Also, if someone has posted a tasteful photo of a person who has done porn, DO NOT point out this fact to everyone.

There are plenty of sites dedicated to porn and porn stars. If that is your interest, then please go to these other sites. We want this board to focus on amateur athletes and the guy next door type that is in excellent physical condition. If a photo of a guy looks sleazy ~ don't post it. If you have a photo of a porn star, even if he is not naked ~ don't post it. If you do see a tasteful photo here of a porn star ~ don't make a big deal about it and do not point it out to everyone.

No photos (or video) with nudity. While this specifically refers to frontal nudity, it could also include some butt shots. It really depends on the nature of the photo. We do not want overtly sexual material here. If it is tasteful and artistic it might be allowed. (We do understand that this is open to interpretation.) Something that we do not appreciate are photos showing pubic hair or a shaved pubic region.

#2 ~ Do not make posts that are sexually suggestive or overtly sexual.

No one here wants to hear what you want to do with some guy posted in a photo. That includes seemingly innocent comments like "I would like to feel his bicep" or "I would like to wrestle with this guy". Please keep it to yourself. There are plenty here who are not sexually obsessed about these photos. It is also somewhat disrespectful to the subjects of the photos, many of whom contribute to this board.

Please be responsible and not overly suggestive with comments regarding guys posted in photos here. There may be others who share your views, but there are also plenty who do not want to hear your thoughts on the matter. This message board is not like a bathroom wall where you can write whatever thoughts enter your mind. It is a public forum and should respect the thoughts of a diverse online community.

#3 ~ Do not give out personal information on anyone, including yourself.

This means NO information that is not common knowledge about anyone who is posted here or who posts here. This also includes no posting of MySpace sites. Definitely no posting of people's real names, contact information, personal website addresses or any other personal information. Just because we can look at and appreciate photos here, it does not give us the right to contact these guys. ~ Unfortunately, there have been numerous examples in the past of people that do very irresponsible things with this type of personal information.

Posts that ask for personal information on anyone posted here will be removed. The same goes for posts that give out your contact information and ask people to contact you. This is not a place for hooking up or making contacts with other people. There are plenty of places on the net for that type of thing. The people that come here are not focused on that.

#4 ~ Stay "On-Topic".

This means that your post should be about "Photos of Athletic Young Guys". Posts that are not about this subject will be deleted. There has been much discussion on what "young guys" means. We DO NOT want photos of little boys appearing here, EVER!! If you do post these types of photos, you will be immediately and permanently banned...NO warnings, NO questions asked! A good rule of thumb would be high school/college age. Some guys that are 25 look much younger, just as some guys that are 16 look much older; use your best judgement here. Ask yourself: "Is this borderline too old (or too young)?" If the answer is yes, just don't post it.

#5 ~ New Topic posts MUST contain photos.

Every new topic (starting a new thread) must have at least one photo in the message. This means that if you start a new topic and your post does not have a photo, it will be removed.

Once a thread has a photo, replies to that post do not also need photos attached; but they could. There CAN be discussion of posted photos; but every New Topic post must contain at least one photo.

#6 ~ No Hotlinking of photos / No linking to other sites.

Hotlinking (Direct Linking) is when you use the original site's web address and link the photo directly from there to this board. We get many complaints from webmasters when this happens. Instead of hotlinking, you should save the photo to your computer and then upload it to an image hosting site. ~ How To Post Photos

Linking off to other sites is not permitted. ~ Using this board to direct traffic to another web address (board/site/blog etc.) is not permitted. Any links directing members off this board will be removed; continued posting of a removed link will be considered spam and yield further administrative action.

#7 ~ No Bumping.

Do not bump a post (make an unnecessary comment to move a post back to the top of the board). If people have an interest in your post they will add genuine comments; when that interest dies down the post will move down the page to make room for newer posts. It is a natural progression ~ let it happen.

#8 ~ "Morphing" and "morphed" photos are not welcome here.

This is a personal decision of the board owner; there is no room for discussion. For those who do not know what "morphing" is; it is when digital manipulation is used to edit a photo to enhance muscle size. Sometimes it is subtle and difficult to detect, other times it is exaggerated and can be "freaky" in its look. Neither type is appreciated here. Some find the "fantasy" presentation of morphed photos to be exciting; that is not the feeling of this board's owner. If it is your interest, look for sites that focus on it, they are out there.

Photos that are digitally manipulated and discussion of morphing will be deleted.

#9 ~ Vanity Posts are not what we are about.

Posting photos of yourself (self-pics) and asking for comments is not what this board is about. Occasionally this happens, and the guy is exceptional; in cases like this, it is acceptable. However, this is not the norm; most often these vanity posts are just average guys who want some positive feedback. Again, that is not what our board is about.

#10 ~ Be respectful of others.

Be respectful of all others. Do not post comments about others that could be considered rude. It is okay to express thoughts and opinions, but it should be done tastefully. This would also include rumours about people; famous or otherwise. One of the basic premises behind this board was that it was not going to be a place where people could insult and disrespect others. There is way too much of that on message boards all over the net.

Never make any claims about someone that are not easily proven or common knowledge. This includes any statements about someone's sexuality. Basically, be cool and respect others feelings. "Treat others as you would like to be treated" and "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".

Posts removed or edited

It is at the discretion of the administrators/moderators if a post (or an entire thread) should be deleted, closed or edited; so please do not make a new post asking why a particular post was altered. Also, do not start a new post saying "My last post was removed" ~ that is a sure way to get your new post removed as well. If a post of yours was edited and you re-edit, you will be warned only once. Do it a second time and you will be banned, end of story.
An administrators/moderators decision is FINAL. No questions asked ~ I trust their judgement 100%.

The primary reason for this is quality control. We aspire to have photos of attractive, muscular young men. If the people in the photos do not fit into what our board administrators/moderators consider to be an "attractive, muscular young man", that post will be removed. Do not take this personally; none of our staff would ever post their own photos on this board. We are not trying to judge you; we just want the board to reflect what it was intended to reflect.
